As new, large recycling carts are delivered curbside this month, City of Sarasota residents are urged to continue using their classic recycling bins until April 1.
The City will begin rolling out new recycling carts for residents next week as it officially launches its “single-stream” collection service.
Four economically distressed areas of the City could soon see long-term investment and job creation after being designated as “Qualified Opportunity Zones” under the federal Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017.
City administration offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 18, in recognition of the Presidents Day holiday.
