The 5th annual “Lose Big, Win Bigger” fitness challenge to help promote healthy lifestyles will kick off Wednesday, February 28 at the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex, 1845 John Rivers Street (formerly 34th Street).
City Manager Tom Barwin will be a guest speaker during the Suncoast Climate Change Symposium: “Climate in Crisis” on Tuesday, April 17 from 5 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the Sarasota Municipal Auditorium, 801 N. Tamiami Trail.
City of Sarasota administrative offices will be closed Monday, February 19 in observance of Presidents Day.
Garbage, recycling and yard waste pickup will continue as regularly scheduled.
