Palm Avenue Parking Garage Murals

When the Palm Avenue parking garage was first constructed, the City of Sarasota's Public Art Program and the Sarasota Chalk Festival collaborated to commission five unique murals to adorn the walls of each level of the parking structure.

These murals, created by a mix of local, national, and international artists, all follow a theme of arts and culture in Sarasota. The artworks in this "vertical gallery" enhance the appearance of the garage while reflecting Sarasota’s vibrant arts scene. Each floor features a different theme: Dance, Film, Music, Opera, and Theatre. The themes are arranged vertically in alphabetical order by title, making it easier for drivers to locate their parked vehicles.
