As its title suggests, Poly represents multiple aspects of Sarasota's natural beauty and cultural heritage. The varied shades of blue that make up the 20-foot sculpture evoke images of light refracting in crystal clear water, wisps of cloud against a bright blue sky, and the city’s rich history of glass working.
