Van Wezel Marketing Department wins three FPRA Golden Image Awards
The Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall’s Marketing Department has been honored with three Golden Image Awards from the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) for its The Grinch Who Stole Christmas campaign in Sarasota.
The campaign received three honors at the Golden Image Awards Gala: Judge’s Choice, Creativity Award, and Award of Distinction.
The successful campaign was made possible through a collaborative effort between the Van Wezel and the City of Sarasota, working together to bring the spirit of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas beyond the theater and into the community. The partnership helped create a citywide holiday experience that engaged residents and visitors while generating excitement around the production.
Representing the Van Wezel at the Golden Image Awards Gala in Orlando Florida were Muffy Lavens and current Public Relations Supervisor Dania Harvey.
The Golden Image Awards recognize outstanding achievement in public relations, communications and marketing. FPRA, founded in 1938, is the oldest public relations trade association in the United States and has a long-standing tradition of professional development, leadership, networking and recognition for communications professionals.
The Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall continues to connect the Sarasota community with world-class entertainment while creating engaging experiences for audiences both on and off the stage.
