Mayor Trice, Commissioner Battie, and Sarasota Office of Housing and Community Development staff joined Habitat for Humanity this morning in welcoming two families to their recently completed homes.
Over the past two years, Habitat for Humanity has transformed five properties along 41st Street, building and renovating homes for low-income, first-time homebuyers through the use of approximately $1.47 million in State and Federal grant funding administered by the City's Office of Housing and Community Development.
