The City's Public Art Program in partnership with the Ringling College of Art + Design and Fresh Fridays invites the community to experience a free, one-night-only projection art installation on Friday, Nov. 6 from 7-10 p.m. in downtown Sarasota as part of the Fresh Fridays "Beyond the Canvas" event.
Original digital artwork created by students from Ringling College's Department of Motion Design will be projected onto the Palm Avenue Garage at 1289 N. Palm Ave. Produced by locally-owned LightMural, the large-scale installation will showcase work inspired by the City's Public Art collection through animation, light and innovative digital techniques.
