The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), Gulf Coast Florida Chapter, has distinguished itself as the voice of women in construction. The Chapter advocates for the success of women in the construction industry and represents the greater construction community, which fosters a positive vision of the future through renovation and beautification projects and the promotion of skilled trades careers.
During its meeting this morning, the City Commission proudly recognized the week of March 1–7, 2026 as “Women in Construction Week,” honoring the advancement of individuals and infrastructure that the local chapter exemplifies.
