Join the City of Sarasota and the community for the dedication of "Niche ArT," a new mural by Sarasota-based artist Truman Adams. The name of the mural highlights the hidden letters “ArT,” celebrating creativity and public art in our community. Located at the 10th and Osprey Townhomes, this project was commissioned through the City’s Public Art Program Call for Walls initiative.
The design features the capricious monk and nanday parakeets that inhabit the neighborhood, bringing vibrant color and celebrating the unique local wildlife adjacent to Gillespie Park.
The ceremony will include brief remarks from the artist, City and neighborhood leadership, and the building owners. Community members are invited to attend and help celebrate this newest addition to Sarasota’s public art collection.
This is a free event open to all.
