Downtown Sarasota comes alive for Fresh Fridays: The Arts on Palm, where creativity, community, and connection take center stage! Join us on Friday, November 7, for Arts on Palm, as we transform Palm Avenue into a free open-air celebration of local talent, live music, and immersive art experiences.

What to Expect

Fresh Fridays is Sarasota’s favorite monthly block party, designed to spotlight what makes our downtown community so special. Expect a night filled with live entertainment, interactive art, and great company, all free and open to the public. Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, explore local businesses, and experience the best of Sarasota culture. 

This month’s event, The Arts on Palm, puts the spotlight on Sarasota’s creative pulse, featuring visual and performing artists who bring imagination to life in every form. Wander Palm Avenue and enjoy the sights and sounds of an evening that celebrates art in motion. 

This event is presented in partnership with the City of Sarasota’s Public Art Program, uniting local artists, organizations, and creative minds to showcase how public spaces can inspire and connect us all. Whether you’re a long-time art lover or just looking for a fun evening downtown, you’ll find plenty to enjoy.

Immersive Art by Ringling College Motion Design Department

Prepare to be amazed by an extraordinary visual experience created by students from the Ringling College Motion Design Department, presented in collaboration with the City of Sarasota’s Public Art Program.

For this month’s Arts on Palm event, students will transform the N. Palm Avenue Parking Garage into a larger-than-life canvas, utilizing cutting-edge projection mapping technology to display 3D, immersive digital art that moves, shifts, and interacts with its surroundings.

This stunning visual showcase seamlessly merges creativity and innovation, blending art, motion, and light in a way that redefines the way we experience public spaces. It’s not just something to see, it’s something to step into and feel. Check out some of the work.

Live Music by The Alan Grant Band
