"Where Home Takes Root" Mural - Zulu Painter

Zulu Painter - East Facing Wall on 21st Street

This mural is one of two artworks created for the Amaryllis Park Place mural project, a collaborative effort between the City of Sarasota and the Sarasota Housing Authority. Amaryllis Park Place is a senior affordable housing community in the Newtown neighborhood, and the project invites artists to interpret the theme “Where Home Takes Root.” Together, the murals celebrate community identity, cultural history, and the stories of the residents who live here. Both artworks will be completed this fall.
