Workday

Employee Self Service Portal

The City of Sarasota uses Workday as an HR tool for Employee Self Service. Current employees and retirees can update personal and contact information, enroll in or change benefits, and update insurance beneficiaries/dependents. Additionally, current employees will be able to view pay stubs, upload certifications, and track their performance.

If you are a new employee: You will receive login credentials through email and will be asked to participate in onboarding activities through Workday.

Workday Login Types

  • City Credentials Login - Active Workers. Current workers with a City username. This allows for the Single Sign On (SSO) connection.
  • Personal Email Login - Future & Separated Workers. For future workers to complete onboarding activities, separated employees to view pay stubs and tax documents, retirees to enroll in benefits annually, and any other entity that needs access to Workday without city credentials.

Each login type will have a different username. You will receive your username from the City based on the way you can login to the system.
