A Taste of Newtown to be held Nov. 8
A Taste of Newtown to be held Nov. 8
Oct. 10, 2025
A free, family-friendly food festival that honors Newtown’s past, celebrates its present, and looks forward to its future will be held Saturday, Nov. 8 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex, 1845 John Rivers St.
As Newtown commemorates its listing on the National Register of Historic Places, the community is invited to celebrate everything that has made Newtown a vibrant and cherished neighborhood. Through delicious food, live music, performance, historic trolley tours and more, the rich history and culture of Newtown will come to life.
Enjoy the local fare, community performance, music, and family activities as the community comes together for a day of fun and festivity. From favorite local cooks, vendors, and artisans to hidden gems and live entertainment, there will be something for everyone to love and discover.
All are welcome—bring your family, friends and neighbors to take part in the full-day celebration. Picnic blankets and lawn chairs are encouraged to enjoy the programs.
Registration isn’t required, but those who RSVP will be entered to win a raffle prize!
