Congratulations to Jacalyn Ochoa on being recognized as our May Employee of the Month!
Jacalyn has been with the City since 2021 and, after two promotions, now serves as Human Resources Coordinator in the HR Department. In her role, Jacalyn focuses on onboarding new employees, coordinating citywide training, and chairs the Employee Appreciation Committee.
Jacalyn is known for creating a welcoming environment for new employees and for putting others first. In nominating Jacalyn for this recognition, a colleague wrote: "One of Jacalyn's greatest strengths is her ability to recognize and celebrate the hard work of others.... While she is always the one shining a light on others, today it's time to turn the spotlight on her."
