City Commissioner Jen Ahearn-Koch has received the Florida League of Cities 2026 Home Rule Hero award for her unwavering advocacy for municipal home rule leading up to and during the 2026 Florida legislative session.
Recipients of the Home Rule Hero award are recognized for working tirelessly to promote local decision-making, protect the powers of municipalities and advocate for the FLC’s platform.
This is Commissioner Ahearn-Koch’s eighth consecutive year being honored as a Home Rule Hero.
