The Newtown CRA Plan has eight focus strategies:
- economic development
- housing
- land use
- transportation
- community health safety and welfare
- infrastructure
- urban design/parks
- administration
Documents:
- Volume I (Plan)
- Volume II (Implementation)
- Volume III (Background Data)
- Downtown Master Plan 2020 (pdf)
The CRA was designed to provide incentives to further encourage revitalization and redevelopment in the Newtown and Downtown communities.
The Newtown and Downtown Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Advisory Boards consists of nine members each, appointed by the City Commission.
