City Hall to observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday

No changes to waste collection schedule

Sarasota, FL:  City administration offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 20, in recognition of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday.

Waste collection schedules will not be affected by the holiday.

Hours of operation at recreation and cultural facilities will vary: 


The regular City Commission meeting will be held the following day on Tuesday, Jan. 21, at 1:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at City Hall, 1565 1st St.
