Bobby Jones Golf Club Hosts Men’s Senior City Championship April 14 & 15

Sarasota, FL: Bobby Jones Golf Club, Sarasota’s historic municipal golf course, will host the 23rd Annual Men’s Senior City Championship the weekend of April 14-15. This competitive event is open to any amateur male golfer who will be at least 50 years of age by tournament time.
The Men’s Senior City Championship is a 36-hole tournament that will be played over two days: Saturday, April 14 and Sunday, April 15. Championship play will begin each day at 7:30 a.m. on the #1 and #10 tees. The tournament will be played on the British Course.
The registration fee is $150 per golfer and includes greens fees with a riding cart each day, tee gift, prizes, refreshments and awards dinner.
The field is limited to the first 104 paid entries and the deadline to register is Monday, April 9 at 5 p.m.
For participants 70 years of age and over, a Super Senior division is available.
Last year, 72 players competed in the tournament with the grand prize awarded to Rich Kyllonen who finished -9 under par. In the Super Senior division, Ron Clayton took top honors with -2 under par.
