City administrative offices close for Presidents Day Feb. 19;
No change to waste collection
Sarasota, FL: City of Sarasota administrative offices will be closed Monday, February 19 in observance of Presidents Day.
Garbage, recycling and yard waste pickup will continue as regularly scheduled.
Hours of operation at recreation and cultural arts facilities will vary:
- Bobby Jones Golf Club, 1000 Circus Boulevard, will be open regular hours: 6:30 a.m.– 5:30 p.m.
- Lido Pool, 400 Benjamin Franklin Drive, will be closed.
- Robert L. Taylor Community Complex, 1845 John Rivers Street, will be open regular hours: 6 a.m.– 8 p.m.
- Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, 777 N. Tamiami Trail - The Box Office will be open from 10 a.m. through intermission of the evening show. Stayin’ Alive will take the stage at 8 p.m.
The Regular City Commission meeting will be held the following day on Tuesday, February 20 at 2:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at City Hall, 1565 First Street.
