Sarasota, FL: Beginning in February, the City of Sarasota’s Purchasing Division will offer a series of no cost, educational courses for vendors, providing helpful tips for doing business with local municipalities.
Each class will focus on a unique topic with the overall objective of increasing vendors’ understanding of the procurement process from start to finish.
“These workshops offer an inside look at doing business with the City and other government entities,” said David Boswell, General Manager of Purchasing. “In the end, we hope this experience and knowledge will encourage vendors to develop good working relationships with local municipalities.”
Each class will be offered from 8 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex, 1845 John Rivers St., on various dates from February to September.
The program will offer the following 5 classes:
Vendor 101- Doing Business with Public Entities
